Amy Rice

Worship Leader

On a beautiful summer day many years ago, a sweet little girl graced Missouri with her presence—and the world was forever changed. The sun shone a little brighter, the air felt crisper, and the grass grew a shade greener.

This delightful girl is now EHBC's joyful and whimsical worship leader, who joined us in 2023 alongside her wonderful family: her charming husband (the handsome firefighter), her son (the uniquely funny one), and her daughter (the silly sweetheart).

Amy holds a degree in church music and has passionately served in various church ministries since her high school days. By trade, she is a registered nurse, currently working primarily from home for the Department of Disability Services. Amy finds immense joy in vacationing, spending time with family, sharing laughter, and worshipping our Lord and Savior.

Her journey of faith began in junior high, after countless questions posed to a patient pastor and his wife, who graciously adopted her as part of their family. Feeling called to music ministry during high school, Amy pursued her passion by earning a degree in church music from Southwest Baptist University. Her first summer after freshman year saw her stepping into a worship role at Oak Grove Baptist Church in Catoosa, Oklahoma, where she met her handsome firefighter and fell in love.

Amy's favorite Scripture is Matthew 6:25-33, a beautiful reminder of God's provision and care. We are blessed to have her vibrant spirit and talent leading us in worship
